SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping Timetable
The Wine Alley
attempts to ship product within 2-3 business days of receiving an
order. However, a delay of 7-10 business days is not unusual due to the
boutique nature of our wine producers. Please let us know if you have a
deadline for your delivery. The Wine Alley will strive to make sure you
receive your product when you need it.
Shipping Methods
The
Wine Alley ships via UPS. You have the following options: UPS Next Day
Air, UPS Ground Service, In-Store Pickup and Complimentary Delivery
(limited to King County in Washington State).
Delivery times are to be calculated based upon when your order is fully
assembled and shipped. Due to the nature of the wineries The Wine Alley
deals with, it may take up to 7-10 days to assemble your order.
During
extremely hot and cold periods of the year, The Wine Alley recommends
using Next Day Air to avoid extended exposure of your wine to hostile
environmental conditions. The Wine Alley will monitor environmental
conditions throughout the summer and winter and will store your wine
free of charge during severe hot/cold weather and will ship it when
conditions allow safe delivery.
The Wine Alley will not
guarantee your shipment or refund your money due to loss or damage if
you choose to ship via UPS Ground Service during extremely hot and cold
periods of the year.
Ship-To States
Washington State law
allows The Wine Alley to ship to the following states only: AK, AZ, CA,
CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, LA, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC,
ND, OH, OR, SC, WA, WV, WI, WY.
Vintage Changes
Occasionally,
inventory of a selected vintage of a wine may sell out or be replaced
by a new vintage after your order is placed. The Wine Alley reserves the right to ship the current vintage unless a specific vintage is requested by the customer when placing the order.
